what you guys think about Mazda RX8?
Hey does anyone knows how is the new RX8? because I am planning to buy one possibly 09' RX8-R. I read some reviews on it, it seems like a good car. I had a RX7 before, which I enjoyed driving.
The RX8 is a great sports car if you need backseats. The rotary is awesome with its 9000k RPM redline. Low on torque but nothing else affordable handles like it.
The recent facelift was only cosmetic. The engine is the same. the R3 package is a very nice sport package that is new though.
I'm sure you know since you have owned a RX7, that all rotaries inject a small amount of oil to lubricate the apex seals. It is a just small amount and not a big deal at all.
The woman below should probably research a little before she or her husband spend thousands on a vehicle.
Also. RX7s could easily flood just like RX8s, so I'm sure your familiar with that issue as well. There was a software update awhile ago that prevents rotary engine flooding anyway. The 2009 won't have this problem.
