what hid kit do i get for my hi beams?
ok i have 6000k hid conversion kit for my daytime running lights witch is the same as my low beam.. do they sell a 6000k kit just for hi beams or should i get a 10000k hid kit for my hi beams.. i just want for my hi beams to be brighter than my low beams.. i dont need anybody telling me these lights are illegal cuz i dont care and i dont need anybody telling me to get light bulbs.. thanks
If you want maximum brightness, better off sticking with the 6000K lights. I think the brightest of them all is actually 4300K but the 6000K is pretty close. The higher up in Kelvin you go, it actually gets a little duller. Bigger number doesn't mean brighter! Weird I know, but true! If you want them to look different to your lows, I'd go for 8000K, but 10,000K just looks bluer but not brighter.
I really don't care about them being "illegal" either. If Euro cars can have them anyway, so can I!!!!!!!!!! Oh yeah, can get a kit just for the hi beam. Any bulb pretty much! Just look at single bulb kits and not bi-xenon. Got some from here: http://www.extremecaraccessories.com/products.php?homeinclude=catalog&category_id=36153&parent_id=36153 and never had problem. Well over a year ago! Worth a look anyway!
